What are our Goals?
Our goal is to glorify to Jesus Christ with our lives by testifying to the transformational power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage one other to live in relationship with Gods Spirit. We set out to expose people to the transformational power of the Holy Spirit.
RBCM is a discipleship program. We wish to bridge the gap between our communities and the body of Christ as the Church. Afterall, Jesus commands us to, "Go and make disciples, teaching them to obey." (Matthew 28: 18-20). How can we teach obedience if we ourselves are not obedient?
By the strength of Christ our desire it to make disciples who make disciples.
What are our Values? (Statement of Faith)
We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit as the triune God of the Holy Bible. God loves all. He sent Christ as a sacrificial offering of atonement for all our sins. Christ died, rose, and is alive. We believe that by his resurrection, we now have access to engage relationally with his Holy Spirit. We believe we are called to deny ourselves daily and be led by the Holy Spirit. We believe salvation and eternal life are found in Jesus Christ only.
What is our Mission?
Our mission is to be a support network for those who profess Jesus Christ as Lord of thier lives and to make disciplined followers of Christ who make disciplined followers of Christ.
How? We help equip people to live in relationship with God's Spirit. Through prayer, Scripture, fellowship, and service, we aim to seek righteousness in Jesus Christ. (Matthew 6:33). In doing so, we are confident that God will make a way for those in need. He is The Way. (John 14:6). Our mission is to be transparent and raw before God and others.
What is our Vision?
Our vision is to expose Truth by inviting the Holy Spirit to meet us. We desire to connect every person with Truth, by encountering authentic Christ following disciples.
We understand God has a unique purpose for us all, and ALL things (even our shortcomings and mistakes) work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28).
Our passion is to encourage one another to maximize life’s fullest potential in Christ by learning how to yeild to His Spirit.
Who is our Audience?
We help convicts, the homeless, the neglected, orphans, the elderly, lukewarm church-goers, the church-hurt, and all who wish to be honest before God and others. Don't know God? Don't like God? Don't care? You can come kick it too. You are loved.
Do you want to know Jesus?
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16).
We trust Jesus’ words when he says, “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.” (John 14:15-17).
We understand to keep his command we must live as he says. Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart and with ALL your soul and with ALL your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40).
Finally, we understand Jesus as the only way to the Father. “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except THROUGH me.” (John 14:6).
Want to begin your relationship with Jesus now?
“The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning
faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (Romans 10:8-11).
Pray to receive the Holy Spirit into you heart. Believe that Christ is Lord, and he is alive. Ask him to forgive your sins. Willingly allow the authoritative sovereign will of God to rule heart. When you pray, just be raw before God's Spirit. Be honest. Invite Him to live in your heart and to be with you.
If you prayed this prayer, today is day 1. You are a child of God and loved more than you can imagine! Hit us up and lets walk the walk together. If you didn't say a prayer, you always can. And you too are loved more than you could try to imagine. Reach out anytime.
Jesus is LORD.
